Similar to the D2488B unit, this Hydratrek is powered by a 85HP Kubota turbo- diesel engine and utilizes a 24? over-the-tire (OTT) rubber track system. A very aggressive and powerful unit, the D2488 will access areas that are lined with wetlands, swamps, river crossings, and timber holes. There is seating for six adults on the D2488 unit.
The track system that is designed and utilized on the Hydratrek vehicles has the ability to handle all surfaces. This includes swamps, pavement, timber, gravel, rocks, sand, mud, snow, ice, debris, vegetation, and asphalt.
